Global Procurement through the Third-Party Program

Process Overview

Global Procurement through the Third-Party Program establishes a robust framework for third-party risk management. Aligned with the company’s goal of maintaining a consistent, sustainable, and effective risk-based process, the program oversees third-party engagement and lifecycle management. It supports the Platform Testing team within Global Procurement, ensuring adherence to Enterprise Testing standard quality practices and processes.

1. Sets the framework for third-party risk management.
2. Supports the Platform Testing team within Global Procurement.
3. Ensures adherence to Enterprise Testing standard quality practices.
4. Reviews and validates documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Design documents.
5. Responsible for test design and execution of system/functional and production validation.
6. Identifies and documents defects during test execution.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Working closely with the Testing Coordinator, Data Manager, and Project teams.
• Understanding test plans and testing strategies.
• Leading or participating in application/database testing projects.
• Developing testing scenarios and test scripts.
• Executing test scripts and documenting and validating problems and defects.
• Reporting adverse testing conditions to the Testing Coordinator and Project team.
• Participating in production validation during implementation.
• Maintaining the Test Script Repository.

Requirements and Foundational Skills

Requirements

• Education: B.Tech/BCA/MCA
• Certifications: Advanced SQL, Agile Certified
• Experience Range: 5 – 8 Years

Foundational Skills

1. Can understand and explain complex data flows.
2. Intermediate or better SQL experience.
3. Advanced Excel skills for comparing large quantities of data.
4. Strong knowledge of data warehouse validation practices.
5. Strong knowledge of testing on Oracle platforms (SQL).
6. Experience working in Agile environments.
7. Ability to understand and interpret requirements from different sources.
8. Strong collaboration and communication skills (verbal and written).
9. Strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and quality of work performed.
10. Proactive communication regarding any issues or concerns related to testing.
