The campuses of both these universities are being built in Gujarat International Finance Tech-City (GIFT City) in Gandhinagar. Many important agreements have also been signed between the top universities of India and Australia regarding research, joint and dual degree courses.

In the first meeting of Australia India Education and Skills Council (AIESC) held in Gandhinagar on Monday, India’s Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Australian Government’s Education Minister Jason Claire MP discussed increasing research cooperation in many subjects including agriculture, water management, healthcare, AI.
